President Trump is appointing his former personal lawyers to judgeships, part of a larger effort to put his stamp on the federal courts.

All week, current and retired judges have spoken out about about physical threats to judges and a rising tide of criticism from politicians and elected officials.

The area's top federal prosecutor, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois Andrew Boutros, was called before a judge Thursday for violating a secrecy order. Political Reporter Chris Tye reports.

Judge Tony Graf previously served as a prosecutor in Utah, including in the county where Mr. Kirk was shot and killed last year.
